RPM Project Open House

RPM Project Open House

The CTA and 48th Ward are hosting an Open House on Tuesday, January 28 for Uptown businesses to learn and ask questions about the Red and Purple Modernization (RPM) Phase One Project. All potentially impacted businesses are invited to join Uptown United/Business Partners to learn about what's coming and how it may impact you.
Please join us on Tuesday, January 28 at Furama Restaurant for the RPM Lawrence to Bryn Mawr Modernization Project Open House meeting. You can drop by between 9 am - 1 pm or 4 pm to 8 pm to learn about:
  • Project timeline
  • Community impacts
  • Temporary station construction
  • Anticipated alley and street closures
  • Alternative parking options
  • Construction of new stations and tracks
Ald. Harry Osterman, 48th Ward, will address participants at 9:30 a.m. and 6 p.m. Otherwise, there is no formal agenda or presentation – the meetings will be open-house style to allow you to get the information you want.
