Women's Networking Mixer

Join us on Friday, July 30 for our first in-person Uptown Women's Networking Mixer hosted by HackHaus!  Meet and connect with other leaders from local businesses and non-profit organizations across Uptown while enjoying light bites and a cup of coffee.  All are welcome!

Our networking events build community among Uptown businesses, non-profits and neighborhood groups, strengthening our local economy through the development of strategic partnerships.

Online ticket sales close at 4pm on Thursday, July 29.  Tickets will be available at the door, but we encourage all attendees to register prior to the event for planning purposes.

ABOUT OUR HOST:

HackHaus provides independent workers and small businesses with the infrastructure, shared resources and support you need to succeed. We offer a variety of affordable, monthly membership options scaled to suit your needs. High speed wi-fi, printing services, fresh coffee, and a community of people that work to make change.

Inspired by the ideals behind the Bauhaus movement and our innate DIY mentality - HackHaus was derived.

Bauhaus, literally meaning [building house], sough to unify art and technology into a single craft allowing for a reimagined material world that combined beauty and function. The initiative of the art school was to merge traditional craft with modern technology. While radical for it's time, Bauhaus, ultimately became one of the most influential design movements of the 20th century.

Add to that, 'hack', not in the form of [to gain illegal access to a computer network, system, etc.] but rather, [a creatively improvised solution that increases productivity and efficiency].

It's now the 21st century. Computer screens are the new canvas. Revolutionary technology is reshaping the way we think & do things today and there's tremendous potential for this tech to transform the future. It shouldn't be seen as a threat, but rather as an opportunity for us to evolve.
