A new online map made by the City of Chicago can show you what roads to avoid as construction season gets underway.
The ChiStreetwork map was unveiled on Tuesday and can be viewed online. Anyone can enter a ward, neighborhood, intersection, or address to see nearby road closures, events, and construction work. The information can show an area’s current status, the past month or future projects up to a year ahead.
