Art Opening featuring artist Alexandra Stevenson
Friday, June 3 | 6:30-8:00 PM  | Everybody’s Coffee, 935 W Wilson Ave

Alexandra Stevenson’s art enables us to know at a deep soul level that all of life is intertwined. Suzanne Simard in her scientific work on trees, talks about how our lives are inextricably entangled with one another and with all of nature. There are invisible forces just below the surface working to connect us all in a network of life. Alexandra’s work reveals this in her images of trees, roots, and other natural forms. She lets the paint reveal its own nature through her process. She has no problem allowing the paint a bit of freedom to go where it wants to go, much like the gentle breeze as it blows across the surface of water.  Free & open to the public.
